OTHER PEOPLE’S LIVES - Step into a world of human connection and desire with Other People’s Lives, a provocative night of one-act plays from some of New York’s most compelling screenwriters. These stories pull back the curtain on the raw, often uncomfortable moments of human interaction—where the lives of others become a reflection of our own deepest longings, fears, and regrets. Other People’s Lives challenges us to reflect on the lives we inhabit, the people who cross our paths, and the often unexpected ways in which we are all intertwined.

Note: On April 18th and 19th and April 25th and 26th there is an opportunity after the show to walk down the block to Adult Film NYC’s studio space to watch 10 O’clock Tennessee, a 10 dollar show at 10pm of Tennessee William’s early one acts. People can email adultfilmnyc@gmail.com if interested in getting a ticket for that.

Stuck

Dates: April 12 at 10:20, April 17 at 9:20.

In a little country home in a little country town in Tennessee, Drew's quiet night is upended when Dale, an old friend with a bottle of Jack in hand, shows up at their door. As the night unfolds, buried emotions and unspoken truths surface, turning a casual visit into a raw exploration of love, self-image, and the tangled web of their past. This play is a poignant and unpredictable journey through the complexities of friendship, regret, and the fragile lines between love and loss. This play is recommended for Mature audiences due to sexual situations.

Conceal Me What I Am

Location: Chain Studio Theatre & Livestream (NYC Fringe)

Dates: April 15 at 9:25pm and April 19 at 8:55pm

Through monologue, scene, and tableau, Conceal Me What I Am takes audiences on a whirlwind tour through the “breeches roles” of classical theatre. Branching out from the iconic Shakespearean examples of Viola and Rosalind, the show also incorporates fascinating lesser-known variations on the trope from female+ dramatists including Ana Caro, Elizabeth Polwhele, and Hannah Cowley. Performed by a powerhouse ensemble of three, this hour-long piece weaves together a dynamic exploration of gender, identity, and popular art.
