Celebrate IndieSpace’s One-Year Anniversary
We are already approaching ONE YEAR of wedded bliss as IndieSpace!
Celebrate our first year as a married organization at a super fun and casual Anniversary Shindig on Wednesday June 28, 2023 at Culture Lab LIC, from 6:30-9:30pm. Come hang out, play some party games, and connect with your IndieSpace family!
In addition to celebrating our one year “PAPER” Anniversary, IndieSpace is starting to save for our FIRST HOME! Like any newly married “couple” moving into new digs, we’re asking for your help with our move; and in exchange, we’ll pay you in pizza and beer.
$15 ticket - includes a bunch of pizza, sides, dessert, one drink ticket, and a night of fun with the indie theater community. There will be a cash bar available to purchase additional beer and wine or soft drinks, if you want. The proceeds from the bar go to support our space partner, Culture Lab LIC. The ticket price will go to IndieSpace to help us offset the cost of the party.
It is going to be an evening of fun. We will have roaming performers, party games, and other making activities. We will have artist Scooter LaForge creating a community collage so PLEASE bring a photo, a playbill, a napkin from your favorite coffee shop, or any piece of interesting paper to add your spirit to this artwork!

Accessibility: Culture Lab LIC is wheelchair accessible and has a ramp for building access as well as curb cuts. The building also has an ADA compliant, gender neutral restroom. All the chairs at the venue are armless. The HVAC system is new and has MERV filtration, the ceilings are over 20 feet and we will have a garage door open for air circulation. Masks are optional. There will be eating and drinking, so guests will likely not be masked for the entire event. There will be vegetarian and vegan options available for food. Alcohol will be served, non-alcoholic drinks are available. ASL will be provided by Inclusive Communication Services. Please inform us of any additional accommodations needed (i.e. ASL companion, different furniture, etc) at least seven days prior to the event so we can be sure to meet your needs.
