IndieSpace hosts the Indie Theater Discord Server, a virtual home for artists to collaborate, communicate, and educate. It’s a space to learn about indie theater opportunities and network with like-minded artists and workers.

The Tank presents a public staged reading of “Goretti” on July 19 at 7pm and July 21 at 3pm.

Show Description: It’s the 10th anniversary celebration since Kyle, Molly, and Benji left the Catholic faith. However, when Sky, the new friend to the group, inquires about Kyle's paintings of Saint Maria Goretti, the secrets and trauma that lead to the group's departure are exposed in a new light, testing the strength of their relationships, and asking, “Is forgiveness possible?”


“Annie Brown’s 5th Grade Science Presentation” is one of 6 Finalists in SoHo Playhouse’s 3rd Annual Lighthouse Series—a festival that showcases emerging artists across New York City.

It will be shown at the SoHo Playhouse on July 14 at 4pm and July 15 and 16 at 7pm.

Show Description: Annie Brown is ready to KILL her science presentation on the food chain. But when the animals become a little too aware of their roles as predator and prey, the whole show is thrown off-kilter. A dark comedy exploring class and oppression through the eyes of a 5th grader.

Ghost Light Theatre Company is putting on a production of “The Wolves” at the SoHo Playhouse on July 19 and July 20 at 7pm.

The ChoreoJoey Project is putting on “Dances With Ancestors” at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater from July 18-21./

Show Description: soak is an accessibility-centered, virtual, and immersive electroacoustic toy opera by a sick + mad + disabled non-binary babe soaking in a bathtub co-created with and for sick + mad + disabled folx in bathtubs/shower chairs/showers/wash basins/sponge baths/kiddie pools/sitz baths/foot baths/areas of cozy and enveloping rest and ease/in, with, or near any body of water big or very small (an ocean, lake, river, creek/rain, snow, steam, or ice/a glass of water/our own bodies), real or imagined (because who is the arbiter of what is real anyway?).


Needs More Work Productions is producing “Anti-Gone”, a choose your own ending interactive adaptation to Sophocles' classic play.

It is taking place at Moore Jackson Community Garden July 12-14 and 19-21 at 5:30pm.
