West Side Fest 2024 Wrap-Up

Thank you to everyone who supported last weekend’s West Side Fest. It was amazing to see so many folks come through to visit the West Village Rehearsal Co-Op (WVRC) and all of the cultural institutions along the west side of Manhattan.

We wanted to share our appreciation to some of the people who helped support IndieSpace, WVRC, and West Side Fest.

Thank you to the teams at Divine Riot, Ali Keller LLC, and Felice Lesser Dance Theater for opening your rehearsals to the public and engaging the community in this way. It was an incredible and intimate way for people to see the work that goes into creating theater. Please check out their work and the exciting projects they are working on.

We appreciate the team that helped organize West Side Fest. You were terrific to work with! Joel from the IndieSpace team served as the chair of the festival’s programming committee and raved about working with the other institutions. He especially wants to thank Gabriella Malavé, the Programs Manager for Administration & Special Projects from Friends of the High Line, for all the help in the programming process. 

Finally, a huge shout-out to India for representing IndieSpace throughout the festival weekend. She made sure the audience and community members were welcomed and attended to.

We can’t wait to welcome y’all back next year!
